Undergraduate Research Capstone (In Progress)

For my graduation capstone at Texas A&M University, I continued my research in Cambodian Folklore and implemented a self-study of hybrid stop-motion set design techniques.

I designed and built a hybrid stop-motion environment based on a set of ancient Khmer temple ruins in Cambodia, while my accompanying research studied Southeast Asian representation in Western animation. Using traditional model-making techniques, I constructed the physical set before using 3D scanning and digital sculpting to create a digital set extension.
